„Haza a magasban!”

„You’ve no other homeland, but your mother tongue” (Sándor Márai)

We may loudly cry out in harmony with Gyula Illyés that “the homeland is a-high” and that all the backscattered sounds are just like the kaleidoscopic optical phenomenon: they originate at the same point and then they meet just in the same place. The sound follows the path of the stars around the welkin, hoping to locate all Hungarians whose most valuable possession is their mother tongue.
All Hungarians must be found, because we need one another! Every individual must do his or her best to pave the way for the other in order to return him to the crown of St.Stephen, because we rely on one another’s power, knowledge, and experience.
Our mission at Kalejdoszkóp-Kaleidoscope is to build a cultural bridge between the former Great Hungary and the diaspora to introduce outstanding works of literature, arts, science and sports reflecting the national spirit as lightbulbs wander across the spiritual sky. As we look up at the sky from this bridge, we know there is a higher spiritual homeland behind the clouds, Hungary, and that she is not marketable.
